I specialise in working with panic attacks, hyper arousal and an over stimulated nervous system using EMDR, Sensorimotor psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems and a Polyvagal approach.
Mindfulness is a helpful tool in noticing thought patterns and how to become more self aware and present.
Mindfulness is incorporated into therapy using meditation, bodywork and mindful practice such as breathing techniques and somatic awareness.
It can help alleviate anxiety and reduce stress and allows us to pause, create a moment of space to notice and act differently.
